Frequency of the Board Meetings and
Academic Advisory Body: Once in a year
Nature and Extent of involvement of
faculty and students in academic affairs / improvements:
Both students and faculty take active
interest in organizing events for the improvement of the academic environment
in the department. This is done by encouraging activities like paper
presentations, publishing of research papers, organization of workshops and
academic programmes. Articles are regularly published in various journals.
An association of the students (The Management Association of the American
College) is continually involved in developing various skills of the students
during their term here. Every year this association organizes a management meet
called “Cynosure”, where other colleges from all over the state are invited to
participate. Managers from Industry are also invited for guest lectures to the
students, which enhances the relationship that the department has with the
industry experts.
