• conducted short term Japanese language courses in American College and Fatima College, Madurai

• Trained the engineers of WIPRO, SANYO, MINDA, The Japan Cultural and Information Center, Tata Consultancy Services

• Worked as the official interpreter for SUIBOKUGA (Indian –Ink Paintings) from Japan, organised jointly by The Japan Cultural and Information Centre( Embassy of Japan) and The Japan-China Suiboku Exchange Association in Dec. 1992.

• Worked as the official interpreter for Japanese Film Festival, New Delhi in 1993.

• Held the post of Joint secretary for the Japanese Language Teachers Association of India (JALTAI) in 1996.

• Member of The Japanese Language Teachers Association of India (JALTAI) and Mombusho Scholars Association of India (MOSAI)

 

International visit

• Attended the Japanese Language Teacher Training Program conducted by Japan Foundation Japanese Language Institute, Urawa, JAPAN.
