As
college choir director
Have been the college choir-director for the past 26 years and have built a
reasonably strong choir, which sings in the many annual functions of the
college and the college chapel. The choir has recently ventured into giving
Secular concerts. In 2006, the choir has performed a package of secular songs
for the Madurai Doordarshan.
Currently, the choir is working on another set of secular songs for the Madurai
Doordarshan.
As a director of choral music, specializes in voice and is committed towards
giving voice training for young people interested in choral music.

Was selected by the Oberlin Shansi Memorial Association to spend a semester
(September to December, 1997) at the Conservatory of Music, Oberlin College,
Ohio, U.S.A., auditing classes in choral conducting and voice.
