Founder & First Director
Dr. R.P. Riesz is a Emeritus Missionary
of the United Church Board for World Ministries. He served in India from 1962
in The American College, Madurai and in Teaching institutions of the Church of
South India. Dick Riesz is a Physicist and Computer applications enthusiast, He
is a First Director and Founder of the Jivana Jyoti in Madurai. His connection
with India and a host of Indian Colleagues and Friends is intimate and
detailed, as is his acquaintance with the language, music and culture of South
India. Now he is presently retired and living in Pleasant Hill, Tennessee.
Director
Dr. S. Paul Mary Deborrah is the present
Director of Jivana Jyoti. She is a Physics Professor at The American College.
Under her guidance, the academic program was restructured and updated. A
Personality Development workshop as means to improve their self -confidence,
and invited Computer and Rehabilitation professionals to teach specialized
topics were planned.
Project Management Committee
The Chairman will be the Principal, The
American College, and the Convener/Secretary will be the Director, ICSA,
Chennai. Two Meetings of the Project Management Committee take place in an
academic/calendar year. Project Management Committee will annually make a
report to the Governing Council of the American College, and to the Governing
Body of the Educational and Development services India.
